What the app keeps on your phone
Your shop's items, stock, prices (including buying prices), bills, discounts, and any customer phone number you type on a bill. This is kept in a database on your phone first, so billing works offline.
What is sent to our server
When you are online, the app sends this data to our server so that your other counters and your reports work: your phone number (to sign in), shop name, an optional UPI ID, an optional shop location, items, stock, bills and counter pairing details. The server runs in India (Google Cloud, Mumbai) and is backed up regularly.
Camera and location
The camera is used to scan barcodes and QR codes. A salesperson's phone may use its approximate location to measure the distance to shops. A shop may enter its location so that nearby salespersons can find it.
Who can see what
Cashier and helper phones never receive buying prices, batch costs or profit. If a shop turns low-stock sharing on, salespersons in its area can see the shop's name, area and which items are running low. When bill links are switched on, anyone who has a bill's link will be able to open that bill.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data and we show no advertising. [Which service providers (for example SMS or hosting) handle data for us: to be completed by the owner.]
Keeping and deleting data
[How long data is kept and how to ask for deletion: to be decided by the owner and a lawyer.] Until then, write to the customer-care e-mail.
